Lucy Reid's love for literature started when her grandmother would send her to the library to collect the next book in the Nancy Drew mysteries series.
The love of books, as well as her love for art and her desire to create a social hub for those in the community, now has led to the creation of The Diana at 11 E. Market St. on the downtown Winchester square.
Though not yet open full-time — that's projected for late August — Reid is creating a space in which to sell books, showcase artwork and allow people to gather to share their love of the humanities.
