The community is ready to celebrate the completion of its newly renovated park on Tuesday with its first big event.
While the park was used very little in the past — mainly during community events such as the Bluffs Picnic — Mayor Linda Sapp said they already are seeing much more traffic going through the park, with children playing and the space being used.
Prior to the renovations, the space had limited seating and a pavilion, but little else for children to do.
Now, it has been made accessible to those with disabilities and has a pickleball court, seating and a playground.
