BLUFFS — Village board members are looking forward to events coming up this summer.
The community picnic is planned for Aug. 17, when the headline performer will be country music artist Wade Hayes, with special guest Stompin' Grounds.
The board voted to donate $1,000 toward the event.
Mayor Linda Sapp asked board members to volunteer or donate toward a spaghetti dinner picnic that picnic committee members are having from 5 to 7 p.m. April 26 at the senior citizens building. Proceeds will go toward the picnic.
